This is an excellent souvenir of places of interest and beauty along the Chester River on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. It contains seventeen beautifully rendered drawings by Jack R. Schroeder. There are sketches of several locations in and around Chestertown:
- the Henson-Ringgold House
- Queen Street, High Street
- the Kent County Courthouse, adjacent to Court Street (Lawyers’ Row)
- various historic buildings at Washington College, and Water Street.
- There are views of River House, Widehall, Rich Hall, Tolchester, Sterling Castle, and others.
